«  To see all kinds of colours ! » corresponds well with the general impression which comes out of the exhibition.
Typical Breton landcapes together with scenes from everyday life help the imagination to take off… Houses, boutiques, boats, seas, rivers, trees, flowers, fruit, vegetables- all are dancing in a farandole hand-in-hand with bottles, baskets, tea cups etc…. everyday life is transformed…so that…the pen becomes king, asserts its rights, feels free to run… to stop… then, in its turn, the paintbrush comes into its own, then… we can imagine Alice in this Wonder land….

Born in Le Mans, Martine WENTZEIS has been living in Brittany for 30 years. From a young age, she has developed her passion for painting and explored the different aspects of watercolours; through the years she has discovered her personal technique : watercolours with vivid hues and geometrical shapes, enhanced with gold.
She has opened a studio in Dinan, « Place du Marchix », where she paints, exhibits and gives classes.
